Rules at a glance

Five-color base game using the R&R Games rulebook. Multicolor variants change scoring and hint rules.

Your goal

Build five ascending fireworks for a perfect 25 points, or score your completed progress when the draw deck runs out; three failed plays lose the game.

The flow of play

  1. Choose one action: give a legal hint, discard a card, or attempt to play a card

  2. Spend a hint token to identify every card of one color or value in a teammate’s hand; discarding restores a token

  3. Play each color from one to five, drawing after plays and discards; after the last draw, everyone takes one final turn

A quick introduction to the base game. Use your edition’s rulebook for full setup, card effects and exceptions.
